mostly at the Souq Waqif, the guys who I met last time invited me today for the same but I couldnt attend, probably on friday going to be a meeting there.

what is it like? the same I organized last time.. meeting with whoever wants to make new friends at any open nice friendly cafe. so we decided to make it an open invitation for Qatarliving users so they can get to know each other and feel are not alone.

Targus, Dohasimon, and myself are gathering (lawfully?) tomorrow for drinks then hooka at soog waguff.

if anyone is interested, message me or comment bellow.

it seems like we're all new to this place and it doesn't hurt to start making like minded friends to help you kill some time in this arid oven of a country.

also, i believe we'll all be meeting for the first time, so it'll be interesting.

i've done this yesterday with Zouheir and Bilal, and I still have my kidnies. :P

off to bed then, resting up for tomorrows organized shenanigans.

Hello, I just got here from London and started a new job a couple of weeks ago.

Having recovered from initial exhaustion I am trying to figure out how I am going to spend all my free time.

I'm 28 and single but all my coworkers seem all older and family oriented.

Anyone free to join me for a drink or three? :-)

someone hold my hand too! lol

i'm also new to this oven of a country (you'd think so too if you lived in an igloo almost year round!), been here a few weeks with the family, and just found out about QL.

i'm still prospecting employment, so I haven't had the chance to meet many people, let alone any that speak english! so, i'm also looking to get together with some peeps and we can go find where all the cool kids are hanging out.

message me! don't be scared, the most damage I can do behind a keyboard is hurt your feelings :P but i'm a super chill dude, fresh from the permafrost tundra of Canada!

Cheers,

Moe

I'll tell you what: there are two kinds of people in Qatar. First one lives here with their wives and a flock of kids.

And the other kind is way too arrogant to meet new friends.

Enjoy!
