Doha is not known for its music scene, but I suspect there must be some talented an/or enthusiastic musicians out there, who want to make music or learn about the local & international music scene here!! This forum aims to bring musicians together(online & offline) and hopefully offer practical info & advice to anyone interested in making or just enjoying live music.

Are there any music studios here, where musicians can jam and / or record? Are there any good live music events and regular venues? Music classes?

I hear there are home studios and a "national" studio. As Novi pointed out, the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra is scheduled weekly, musicians hang out for dinner afterwards.
