Its tough to settle down here initailly specially coming from Dubai, but you would be OK soon... try to get off your car, involve yourself into some activities like going to a gym or so where you can make friends. If you have left out on pursuing any hobby, here you would get lot of time to do that. Its all there, just need to help yourself. All the best.

i love qatar! i love the peacefullness and the quietness of some area, no traffic! theres a lot to do in Qatar! if u want to see and mingle with people go to the mall, City Center or Villagggio, if want drink and unwind go to Qubes and a lot of bar resto around. if u want to have a walk in the park or a quiet walk, Corniche or the Khalifa Staduim. Sealine Beach is also a good place to make relax! Maybe u just miss Dubai due that City is open city already unlike Qatar, a law apply to all!

it happens to many who came from Dubai ,when i was there in Dubai , i amazed that why all Qatari men come to Dubai on weekends , especially you will see mostly Qataris and Saudis in Dubai on weekends .

Dubai is open and free seldom feels like your own native place , but in Qatar i feels like an alien.

GO back to Dubai.

I came from a freak African city , after 6 years of ma heavenly life. Used to sit on the bonet of ma car with a pint , while the passing by cop will greet you a nice evening. This is a different world, but again.. you can make it what you want.

right said Arien. You are bored - go back to Dubai where you have lots of things to do.
