No Funny Business

Hope I posted this to the correct catagory.

Fairly new to Gulf. Initial contract was in Bahrain and spent about 8-months there. Came to Doha beginning of this month with a very good position but there will be abit of travel involved. I want to have a situation where I can have a live-in who is willing to clean, cook, laundry...etc. I'm willing to to provide room & board, pay a very good monthly wage, provide a phone, and if the person can drive, rent them a car.

No funny business here. Being recently divorced, I'm not looking for a new relationship nor "easy fun". This is strictly a business arrangement for a trustworthly person.

The difficulty is, Doha is not as open as Bahrain and I'm having difficulty knowing where to start looking. My first impression is, Doha is a fairly closed environment. I had initially thought it would be fairly easy to find a Villa to share, that already had a live-in, or find a college student or someone looking to start their own business but I seem to be having difficulty finding [;aces on-line or off-line to start looking. With the amount of travel it looks like I will be doing, abit afraid of posting an ad in the local newspaper. Would rather have a referral.

My company provided the initial 30-days of accomidation and I'm now seriously searching for the right place to live. The rental agreements here do not allow any movement once you sign and I'm reluctant to commit to a lease agreement before I can find the right person.

Right now, it looks like I will move to one of the hotels for a few months while I continue looking. If anyone has any advise, please share.
