No offense-For info only-Why do most arabs

Why do most Arabs keep the plastic seat coverings of thier newly bought cars to almost a year while driving them?

I mean it's nice to feel the new cloth or soft leather of a new car than sitting or leaning on the plastic sheets over them while driving..

maybe they are lazy... busy...... or don't even care about those plastics at all.

I always ask the same question! Doesn't get too hot in the summer, i'm sure they burn their b*tts off on that plastic cover.

why it is done beats me....

For one, they for sure should know that no way are they going to get lucky in the backseat with those plastics on.

The funniest thing I ever heard of was that some people replace the plastic on the seats when it wears out!

not necessarily brand new cars. Some service centers or car wash have this. Practical purpose: it keeps your car seat life longer and cleaner.

I even hate the paper floor mat they put in after ever service...it gets slippery sometimes when pivoting my foot from the accelerator to the break pedal :(

First thing I'd do if I get a new car is to take those plastics offff. You've already lost 20% value of the car soon as it come out of the showroom.... that ain't coming back ! :)

I dont know how its with fabric seats...but with leather & plastic...its very, very uncomfortable....

I took off the plastic on the 1st day but then saw some people with the plastic cover so I thought "these guys must be clever" and I put a laundry plastic cover on the seat....to say it was uncomfortable is to say the least.

Some people cover their leather seats with fabric/artificial leather seat cover ...duh!

the same reason they keep the shipping stickers glued to the windows for 2 years....

probaly for the same reason they all drive the same white Land Cruisers.....

Nevermind plastic on the seats :)

GET THE BLOODY STICKERS OUT OF THE WINDOWS.We all know it was once a new car,All were at one point!

.so every body know that the car is new and so they think that the person is taking care of it

and most of the guys sell there cars after almost one year so they want the buyers to think that the car is in great condition

But most people know how these cars are being driven here..so you just can't dupe or decieve them. don't you think?

Taking off the plastic is like taking the virginity of your car, its symbolic to some of us, we like to think our baby is still like a new bride. My car was raped after a year, my friend couldn't stand it anymore and she just ripped it off :(

Thankfully she left the back seats untouched so its safe to say the rear is still intact :D

Good Fortune always comes knocking at your door...when you are sh*tting in the toilet!! :)

reminds me of when i was a little kid and my parents would get me the pair of running shoes that i love.. i would not wear it for like a week because i would not wanna ruin in lol, but then i'd go hardcore on it!...maybe people in here get to that phase later hahaha

look and feel uncomfortable the sound of plastic alone all over you while maneuvering, but maybe it is comfortable for them. Or maybe they care too much for the car carefull not to stain or spill on the seats-but that idea fades when i see them run through walks and all.

I saw some expatriates doing the same…. I think it is just being so excited with the brand new car…FYI most of the German cars have no plastic.

its not just Arabs...its done by most people...I think they just want to showoff the importance of a newly bought car...or may be too concerned to save the seat covers!!
