Pakistan's Worst Floods in 80 Years

VANMOST
By VANMOST

Currently Pakistan is facing its worst floods in 80 years. The impact is much bigger than initial analysis. Approx, 14 millions people are affected by these floods. It's a big figure indeed.

People lost their loved ones, homes, crops, and self-confidence as well. They need our dire help.

Please come forward and help them financially, emotionally and personally.

How can I help them? Help those people that are already working for them.

If anyone knows that which organizations are collecting funds, garments, food, etc. Please mention in this post.

I was thinking about something the other day. Apparently 50% of the worlds meat consumption is pork. Can all those people be wrong? Hell will have to be very big to house all these people.

Well I hope for your sake you are right. Just for the record I am not against anyones faith, that is your choice.

Religious people tell me that gambling is haram and then they bet their whole life on heaven....

God will test anyone he pleases. Just like he'll bless whoever he pleases. All the world over people are afflicted with calamities. Who can say only those who are pious are tested and those not are saved? But by being patient we will be rewarded..Inshallah. We also believe after hardships come ease. And what better ease than paradise? Our worldly life will come to an end. regardless of how blessed or tested we are all gonna die anyways.. but paradise will never end.And thats why we are patient.

Some of you guys really confuse me. So by your logic God leaves alone those that do not believe him or the true religion so they live a nice peaceful life. Those that are dedicated in the most religious countries he tests with floods, earthquakes and constant war and terrorist attrocities. So in return to your faith, you have to watch your daughter drown in a flood, you son die in a war and your parents in an terrorist explosion in a market.... doesn't really sell it to me.

I would think a good relationship with God would be one when he rewards you for his faith, not punishing you with a life of misery.

Poor people of Pakistan.

I don't find ES heartless..more like confused. As a person who doesn't believe in what we believe, purely judging by his posts, he must naturally wonder why God tests those who worship him in this manner. Well ES a believer's explanation to that is God tests those he loves..The Prophets were among those most tested with afflictions yet it didn't weaken them in faith. Likewise we aspire to be like them when tested with afflictions. Just because we worship God does not mean he will leave us without trials in this world. However should we be patient and preserve in our worship then we are promised paradise in the hereafter where we will be free from pain & suffering eternally. And that for us is our ultimate aboard.

May Allah grant his mercy immensely on those affected by such calamities and replace all they have lost with far better both in this world and the next..Aameen! And a reminder to all the Muslims out there who go through trials and calamities "And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sabirun (the patient)" - (Al Quran [2:155]) May Allah grant us all patience..Aameen!

This is a reminder to those who are not trialled as well to help those afflicted. Specially with Ramadhan around the corner.
