sknox40, I didn't mean to accuse you of advertising, you weren't I know that. But by providing that info, you help perpetuate the unregulated animal trade here in Qatar. So many animals are sick and dying in these shops before they are taken home. If they can't be regulated and inspected by the authorities, we have to try and prevent them from getting monetary gains. That way, they'll stop treating their animals poorly.
Just for the record, I was not advertising. I was simply answering Al Hani's inquiry. I was at the souqs last night and saw these kittens and snapped pics. I have no ties to anyone selling these animals. I do know that QAWS is a great service and is in need of good caretakers. Since Marycatherine has given Al Hani some useful info about caring for Persian kittens, he can make an informed decision and do what is right for him. Good luck!

Why a Persian kitten? Many here are bred indiscriminately and have many expensive health problems as a result. They also require daily grooming, are you prepared to do this every day for the next 12 to 20 years? If not then please reconsider. Why not adopt a kitten from QAWS? They have so many and they are checked by vets before they are put up for adoption, so you can avoid many problems before they can even occur.
