well,been there,but in reality it's just normal,very poor a'la carte menu.food was ok,but not WOW.
If you're looking for a problem, you're probably gonna find one.
Novi, it was shrimps, squid some singapore noodles and rice.
QS, well, in here seafood is quite expensive, so i wld think that 100QR per person wldn't be expensive, but...oh well, no buffet there people!!! It was just a normal a'la carte menu, which i found disappointing.
btw,Chanel19, why did u write that is it a buffet when it is not true?

it's not bad.....but unfortunately 3 or 4 times the price of a singers hawker centre.
and i can't wash it down with a tiger beer!!!!!!!
one hawker's place in Spore...The Satay Club
perfect Novi... hawker stalls stands out the best compare to Doha imatator... =P
~~~The path that leads to happiness is so narrow that two can not walk on it unless they become one.~~~
i guess nothing in doha can beat the hawker centres in Singapore ..
Went to the Indian restaurant on the same level.. It was overpriced and crap..
iryssa.. that's why it's only QR100...:):)
oohh.. i miss sea food buffets in Toronto.. for max $12-13 (QR 40-45) you can get pleeenty of different dishes of sea-food.. whatever you only can imagine, and even beyond it... :(
Singaporean seafood takes it's inspiration from Chinese, Malay and other South-East Asian Cuisine.
Hence, Singaporean seafood has come out with some unique dishes such as Chilly crab, black pepper crab, sambal prawns, drunken prawns, sambal mussels, steamed fish, sweet sour fish, etc
Expats who have lived in S'pore for a while would be very familiar with these dishes. These dishes go well with beer or wine.
Singaporeans and Malaysians who are in Doha must have prayed very hard for such a restaurant. If the dishes are indeed authentic enough, be prepared to see S'poreans, Malaysians and ex-S'pore expats camping in this restaurant permanently.
I'll start work in Qatar in a few more days. I'll be glad to join anyone interested in visiting this restaurant as soon as possible!
I heard that the food there was as delicious as in Singapore from a Hongkong guy and intend to have a meal sometimes.
What's the difference between a seafood restaurant and a Singaporean Seafood restaurant ?
Will try it out with some friends. Good info! :)
