HI

I have a job offer in Qatar has have been told that family life is great in Qatar but the single female (early 40's) may not be that good. What are your thoughts? is it a good move socially for a person in my situation.

thanks

currently living in Kuwait and have been for 2 years......so packing bags and having a glass of red wine sounds inviting.

My mistake!!

Well, if you ever get bored in Doha, Dubai is only an hour away and quite cheap if you fly by AirArabia.  So if the money is good, why not?

Socially? why not. age doesn't matter, so go gurl, pack your bag and just go.

You should rather be afraid to stay wherever you are right now and do nothing.

There are many ladies in you age group here on QL that you could make friends with!  As for relationships, I'm not qualified to answer so will leave that up to them!
