Hi guys,

As-salam alaikom.

I am a big fan of Air Supply since my childhood years. I could sing-along many of its hit songs in 80's and 90's.

I just would like to know whether are there someone who could SPONSOR A TICKET for me on the forthcoming concert on october 15 at Education City of Qatar Foundation.

Please contact immediately at 3473907. Kuayes, shokran.

Regards,
Rey Sajulga

Working the venue is a great way to get in. My bro. does that all the time(in the States). Good luck! I was disappointed to see that they are doing this before I get there-I loved AS back in the day.

I agree with your comment on me, its pretty constructive. But you know it just happen that i have no earning this time because i am newly deployed here to work and half of my meager income is automatically deducted to the greedy company i have work for...just like the Guarantee Fund (equivalent to one month salary), the Pataqa or working permit - equivalent to QR1,200; plus the placement fee for the recruitment agency.

Just i knew from friends that the guarantee fund and working permit that i just have been paying is NOT existing. In other words, its the obligation of the company to pay the Pataqa which is less than QR200 , but see, they obliged us to pay at QR1,200.

And the 25% of my salary is budgeted for my food allowance, and the otehr 25% is given/supported to my sister who are studying in her senior year in college.

Well, thank you. Anyways i just sleep on the day of the concert. I can buy a CD later on or listen to an MP3 someday.

Ana kuayes. Shokran

You are not that lucky man... I just gave away my spare ticket to a friend who is indeed a fan of Air Supply like you... hope you find other friends of yours generous enough to take you to the concert FOR FREE...

Contact the promoters--there numbers are listed on the flyer that is all over Doha. Volunteer to work at the event for FREE. I doubt they would say no. Good luck!

As-salam alaikom.

The ticket prices are from QR100, QR200, QR300 and QR400. By the way, its 3 days more to go.

I would appreciate someone who could sponsor my ticket even just QR100.

I am a firm believer in earning things. I don't even give my own kids allowances, but make them earn their own money, even the 6 year old! I think they learn to take care of things as well as appreciate them more by working hard for them. Yes, I am the meanest mom in the Universe! (and proud of it)

Dont be harsh, deedee

He is a teacher in his country and cleaner in Doha!

...touching for me!

Do you know how much is his monthly income?

Can he afford a ticket?

It's like buying a Ferrari for me. :)

a free ticket? Just because you are a big fan? I would think if you were that big of a fan you would start to save your money today and buy your own ticket. Any true fan would do what it takes to make it happen, rather than simply be lazy and ask for a handout. Good luck

Listen to them on a CD or download MP3 instead of asking strangers for a free ticket!!
