Sometimes we have managed to stay there the entire evening - depends on the crowd and the mood! But a good guess is normally around 22 - 23 that we might consider going to Rydges.

Aray - just show - the more the merrier

little comment on aussies, i met quite a few of them and i was always amazed by their alcohol capacity so here's a joke, aray i hope you don't mind it :)

what's the difference between australian wedding party and a funeral?

Funeral has one drunken guy less :))

Guys, Would it be cool if i showed also? I don't know if I'll have arrived by then but if an Aussie guy comes and introduces himself as 'aray', it'll be me. Love to have a beer with you lot. You seem like a great crew who also feel their liver deserves no sympathy!!

The following are an almost dead cert:

Tyler: Young, loud, short, American with a fair buzz cut

Richard: not so young, even shorter, quieter, short dark hair

Vasquez: young, tall, fair haired Danish guy

SL: not so young, shortish, slim, Sri Lankan guy with glasses

I won't describe the girls as I will inevitably blow it.

I certainly hope i won't get lost, which is my speciality in Doha :)

I'm from Zadar in Dalmatia, near Dubrovnik but i've lived the last 6 yrs in Zagreb. And i absolutely love Dubrovnik!

Thank you Richard!

The only question still is how to find you all inside...

Directions to the rugby club. Take Salwa Road wset from Ramada Junction across flyover to Decoration roundabout. At Decoration roundabout turn right and take the second right turn (you will see roadworks on the side of the road so it it easy to miss the turn). The second turn says no entry but everyone ignores this, drive down to the end of the road and look for somewhere to park. The rugby club is straight ahead of you.

By the way, which part of Croatia are you from? I have spent many happy weeks in Zagreb and Dubrovnik.

could someone pls give me the directions on how to reach rugby club cause i don't have the slightest idea where it is! and as for finding my way around doha, hm, i still cannot believe they on't have the street numbers.

also, once in R.C. do i just look for the loudest group and that will be you or is there some other way to find you guys?

really looking fwd

So as many of you have failed to stay in touch there have been many nights out with excessive liver abuse occurring routinely. This week is going to be the first weekly bike night at the Rugby Club. This will occur on Tuesday 6 March beginning at 730. Come out and check out the bikes and for you folks who do not ride it is a chance to ask questions, look at the machines, and just socialize. These Bike Nights will occur every Tuesday.

Thursday night is a mate's birthday bash beginning at Rugby Club to be followed by untold number of bars as we bounce through Doha trying to consume as much as possible throughout the evening.

Friday is still up in the air as it is the Dune Fest music festival.

Next week is busy with St. Patrick's Day bash's everywhere. This includes what should be an amazing night at Diplo Club and Global DJ's March event.

Come on out to any of the above events and partake in the fun. As for specific QatarLiving parties I will be more than willing to arrange them again based on interest. As of late I have the same hardcore boozers who always get together (y'all know who you are and are appreciated)

As for some members they just flew into the winds. An Aussie who has disappeared from the social scene, Xena who fails to ever call to see what is up, and those who are in self exile from socialising.

Come out and enjoy an informal meet up and then I will begin to arrange again. Just keep in mind I may just arrange the next one for the Comedy Night in April. Post if interested in setting this up as well as preference to Smoking vs. Non Smoking night.

See y'all around

Hmmm- which personality is coming out today?

to those who wait!

Organisation of such events should be left to the individual, granted we seem to have lost the fun loving Tyler (liver abuse vicitim)

Xena please try to include myself and The Truth 321 (countdown to extinction) in the liver bashing gatherings.

Sobre'ing thought for the day, beach party (local not to far) with tents, portable bbq's and a barrel of laughs whilst the weather is hospitable!!!!!

Love life!
