It was a true story, hence I say Incredible India where you can see a person who lives below the global poverty line also buying flowers to his wife and you can even see someone who drinks the whole money which her wife earns by working hard as mason or selling veggies or cleaning home.

Indian woman despite "self made woman" she is subjected to humiliation for any shortage in the dowry this what daily at an average 2-4 news appear in news papers.

This is a Bitter truth about Indian culture tradition.

Taking onto oneself the onus to rectify an ill is the simplest of the things. Coming from you, who claims to be involved in social issues without borders, I sure was expecting a much bigger picture encompassing a wider audience, the govt machinery, NGO’s etc etc with some references of people working in this field for years with their success stories and how we can lend a helping hand to boost their efforts. I am really disappointed at the simplicity of the action put forth which have no sting at all.

im with you LLR... we have different culture and i dont have anything against dowry but killing or abusing women with this dowry i think its not right even if the women have a wrong decision.
