The last line in my post was a joke! It's the last line in the movie, "Gone With the Wind". Rhett Butler says to Scarlett O'Hara: Frankly, my dear; I don't give a damn!
ladyjane, my dear, you just proved my point. thanks.
When I see movies on other people's lists that I haven't seen, it gives me ideas of movies to watch. So, I do care what your favs are. And BTW, I've never seen Gone With the Wind from beginning to end. But, frankly my dear; I don't give a damn!
i find these threads really silly
who cares atleast not i which movies are your fav.. we all wanna tell anyway.. so i tell and i bet nobody cares which movies i like
gone with the wind
Ofcourse with Lara.
But I would like to have a better system of removal of nightsoil and not that kind of steaming disinfectant in a huge barrel!
Alone, or with Lara, edifis?
And I love the music of "Dr Zhivago"
The movie makes me yearn for a long journey in a steam powered loco, preferably the Trans-Siberian Route, atleast upto the Urals.

Did you expect me to Read Russian too?
I read the translated english subtitles. And I hear the background music as there is no voice.
But even with talkies, I can use the opensubtitles.org to download divx subtitles for movies like the "Ladri di biciclette"
There is no voice. Good, edifis. In 1928 there were no voices.
You don't speak Russian, edifis? What a surprise.

Boston, "Battleship Potemkin" is a nice movie but the print is not good and the sound is also poor. Although the sound is not so important as I need subtitles for it anyway!
