What breed is this kitten?
By AzureSephiroth •
A few days ago, one of my friends offered me a kitten. I gladly accepted taking it in and took the kitten with me home. The kitten I took turned into a raging monster that knows no fear whatsoever. Playful and naughty, I called it tiger....
What breed is this kitten so I can try to figure out what to do and what not to do with its kind...
and it has an eerie resemblance to...
And for those wondering, it came from a home cat. ;)
Yup I got a bit off track. I do have a jack Russel terrier and they seem to be playing with each other, biting and scratching profusely.
Thank you guys for the advises and comments. I tried the spraying technique but it failed miserable, tiger calmly jumps at it and starts playing with it as if it was a mere ball. Thanks again.
JazzCat is correct, that's a good way to train cats. You also have a Jack Russel? :) That's lovely. They should get along fine as long as they are raised together, you shouldn't have any problems. :)

What a little cutie!
It's a domestic short hair. The best way in my opinion to train a kitten is to use a spray bottle filled with water. Every time he does something they he shouldn't give him a little squirt. It wont hurt him, and he will stop doing it!
@Pothole Research,
Well, I had to bravely take the photo while being scratched endless times. It doesn't like being in the spotlight.
@Stork,
Tiger is the third generation from an adopted original stray cat. The traceable family is currently scattered in different homes all over Doha.
@all,
Another question, now I have a Kurt Russel puppy. They seem to play around with each other, but is there anything I should know?
What breed? Looks unbred to me. LOL!
I like the second pic where he has his claws out and on your arms. Serves you right for mishandling him. Cats don't like to be lifted that way.
looks more like a cat to me breed hmm donot know guess the normal one.

Your kitten looks like what the vet would call a "domestic short-hair" which is a common breed. And what you should definitely do ...apart from playing with it and loving it of course.... is get it neutered as soon as it becomes mature, around 5-6 months. There are so many stray cats suffering in Doha, it would be the kindest thing to do. I too have adopted a stray, it seems to be the expat way....! :)
What a cutie! :)
My old cat looked like that when I got him over 20 years ago (he's long gone now) and if he's a street cat in origin, he'll be healthier and stronger than normal domestic cats. Law of survival I suppose.
I noticed you mentioned that he came from a 'home' cat? What do you mean?
It looks like he is a tabby mix, but he has the distinctive face shape of local kittens.
Anyway, good luck and if you need any advice, you can always post up on the animal group where you'll always find someone to chat with. :)

the last one i know..hehehehe..from shrek..:D sorry, me no help again..
It's not a particular breed. Looks to me like any of the stray cats you see on the street.
