Considering the global situations, I expect that World War 3 not too far..
What are your thoughts?
Issues with Israel US and Iran
Issues with China and US
Issues in the Middle East
Issues in N/S Korea
And so many..
I dont have proper words.. Do you think is there any chance this wont happen ( I mean the mass destruction again in the planet earth)???
Is there a chance we dont have another Hiroshima and Nagasaki again?

although a major war is mentioned wen the christian, jewish , muslim civilizations will clash
but whether we can call it world war is hard to imagine
however , these end times are marred with indiscriminate wars and killings

But whether it can be referred to a world war as described in the OP is hard to imagine. As Muslims we do believe that a major war will occur, a war between good and evil, however when that will be is unknown to any of us. And the nature of it, like what weapons will be used etc, is again anyone's guess!

Actually many people think US and Israel are on same side.. they are not... each know this and both are using each other...
The "War Machinery" in the US comprises of German Nazis who left Germany... and continued their "Great work"... CIA is one such organisation...
One cant expect Nazis to take the side of Jews... but that is what we see today... but after a certain point in time... the tide will turn against Israel too...
The support they are giving Israel today is just to dominate the Arab states (I guess they have achieved this now) on the guise of brokering peace... Israel was created when they realised the amount of Petrol gas available in the Gulf...
20 yrs ago US had so many problems with Arab countries... but today they have a base on each one!
WW3 will be a war of Christians Vs Muslims... that is how the plan is angled at...

War will stir up jobs and economy of those countries who are struggling... almost the whole NATO countries...
The cost of the war will have to be borne by those countries whose economy are supposedly doing well... & the defeated Oil rich countries will be asked to pay the penalty of the war.... So the Asians & Arabs will suffer...
The countries who are supposed to loose EVERYTHING are the oil rich nations... (as they will be clubbed together with Iran under some pretext or other).
The only odd ones are India and China as neither belong to either Christian or Muslim religion.
The war will be created in such a way that India and China will be on opposite sides and also due to the Geography...
India and Pakistan will have a major war just before WW3 so that Pakistan will be pushed towards the Arab Nations, North Korea, China and Iran... India, South Korea & Taiwan may be asked to join the Nato forces...
By the end of the war Gulf will have lost all its wealth and might even be under UN Debt... Gulf Countries will be asked to devalue their curriencies leading to the fall of GCC...
The only thing remaining in the puzzle is WHAT attack will prompt WW3... but it will be attack on a scale of 9-11... that time the plane intended to hit White house was shot down by a dumb kiamazakzi fighter pilot (Bush had even vacted the house under pretex of holidaying).
The WW3 attack will usually be on a building of National importance.

The global economic solutions and the political ideologies will less likely to sort the issues of poor and their sufferings... hence Sometimes I used to have this thought
Do nature also need a War to reduce the gap between the people who are becoming rich rich & rich and the people becoming poor poor and poor.

Having nuclear weapons and having the capability to deliver are two different things.
It is easy to talk of using nuclear weapons. it is another to actually use them.
As Nikita Khrushchev famously said,“The survivors (of a nuclear war) would envy the dead.”
Painther, yes, that may be a possibility. But first they have to get their hands on and they have to make it function...not highly likely. I hope....

Thelonius, I don't think there will be a nuclear conflict. too much damage, takes too long to fix it afterwards.
The past few decades of Israel and US threatening surely might have some impacts on Iranian Military Expenditures. The huge oil reserve cuz of sanctions is more destructive than on site bombardment.
WW3 will never happen in Mid-east!!

Nobody wants to lose here...nothing is going to happen...except some saber rattling. And some local wars..as in Syria. And maybe one in Egypt, but that's not very likely at the moment.

Israel is waiting for the fall of Syria...If Israel Strikes Iran.. Iran will Strike all the US bases in the middle east.. Turkey will support US..Iraq will be more divided...Expats in GCC will be deported back to their countries...which will ultimately collapse the US and EU economy..third world countries will be less effected...

To have a WW, are ever a War, we need two almost equal forces, we have a unipolar world now, so NO chance for WW3,
Anti US forces lobbied but they stand too little, as of now,
probably once world order changes in next 20 yrs, if China survives & remain united, we may see something, (but Chinese are smarter guyz, they'll never go for a large scale self-destructing war)

For a start it's expensive. Secondly, the populations are fed up of politicians entering wars.
North Korea is just being made the bogey man to get public acceeptance of extra expenditures. They can't afford to go to war.
No, I do not think we will see WW3. Maybe some localized stuff, but on a global scale, no.
Dictatorship and Democracy has not difference if people have no power over their politicians decision.
unfortunately the people don't have power, the politicians do. But I don't see WW3 any time soon.
I think if it comes from anywhere it will be North Korea, but I doubt it.
Cuz of the tensions between the diplomats why should the whole country suffer...
