What should be censored?

You are right. The voice of the minorities needs to be heard, but the wants of the majority need to be addressed.

A "civilized" society hears the voices of the minorities, brit, and gives them a voice!

Surely, the majority MUST be catered for. If they make a mistake, then it will be resolved further down the chain..

Is it a contradiction to say the majority can be wrong, or is it implicit that if the majority of people believe or support something, it becomes automatically true?

I don't think there is a need to censor anything, as LP said if you don't want to watch something just turn off, problem solved.

Censor board employs people so you got to censor something to give them work.. Maybe they can censor Rebecca Black or Justin Beiber songs..

It's for the government and/lawmakers of the land to decide this as far as a nationwide censorship goes. Personally in my home and in my private life, I know exactly what should be censored and what should not so I don't really depend on those in authority to make that decision for me or my child!

Someone who knows what is good and what is bad has the chance to switch off the TV as soon as they show something bad. And he can also protect his children from it, IF he spends time with them and IF he knows what they are doing. So, there is no need to censor anything.

Expected. No surprise. They always need a "Leader" who tells them what is right and what is wrong. They are children, still.
