What's up with that??
By what do u want •
just a question.. did you go anywhere today and find hundreds of workers standing there?? I'm not talking about some workers by the corner of the street waiting for work.. but about HUNDREDS... STANDING EVERYWHERE...
I'm not sure what it was.. I'm new to Doha.. but I have passed by the street "mshereb" several times before.. and it was never crowded like this.. today, Men (mostly from India, philipines) were all standing.. and they were a lot(it looked like a protest)!
any idea what was going on?
They were watching the cricket world cup final. TV sets would have been on in the little tea shops in that area and all of them were gathered there to catch a glimpse of that.
ah ok... but the crowd was huuuuuuuuuuge.. that made me wonder.. and also makes me wonder if they were allowed to go in the mall.. what would it look like.. I sure won't go there!! I hope they build more malls and more hang out places.. and allow everyone! it's kind of a weird rule.. never heard of family day at the mall.. but heard of "female day" in Saudia arabia.. lol.. what if a guy decided to sneak in by wearing abaya and niqab! hehe
you need training of going inside even if you are single ;-)
;-)
imtiaz...a bowler can hide the ball in his hands before delivering but if balls were always hidden then the batsmen would be groping in thin air with lights on.
balls are hidden always
hmmm...conspiracy theories apart but looks like Indians teaching cricket to philipinos...did you also see any balls flying around??
and since all these workers/laborers are not allowed in malls...they are "everywhere"..as you put it.
You'll get used to it...
it is their meeting place for the bachelors on friday. mostly indians, nepalis and bangladeshi. it is not a protest but a meet up place. you will see it every friday.
