WHEN WILL THIS THING STOP

doha_awakness
By doha_awakness

Well , it s about time for something to be done about this Global djs thing in doha .enough abuse of these youngsters who find their escape to the adult world through these events . rave parties are made for certain people and require certain needs i know most of you know what i am taking about.however everytime i have attended any global djs events i was faced by an army of youngsters who are not even 17 , which is against the qatari law that insists that people to be able to attend such venues should be over 21 for both gendres . moreover it s so sad that the people from the diplomatic club or from certain undercover officials are just letting this thing happen under their eyes.....why !!!

in the last event i was at .. loads of these underage people were vomitting non stop and it was everywhere.....is this how we want the youth of doha to be raised ....!!!

anyway just for eveyone s info , it seems diplomatic club have had serious complaints about that issue and is stopping this global dj thing ...

hope whenever someone wants to do an event  ... Mr Master J do it for the love of doin something successfull and dont be based on greed for money and for being known...

and by the way Master J do you have a qatari residency ....;)

Yes constitution means nothing without practicing. Practicing is very hard when there is no parliament (or any similar authority) to back up. So far.

Anyway, By liking the use of "BS" I didn't mean it's not a big deal. It's a big deal.. literally dirty as S. OMG I'm swearing. I didn’t mean crap. I didn’t make it clear..It’s my fault I’m sorry.

About the "Our" thing , well yes this can be seen as a problem sometimes. But I call it allegiance. You know why? Because sometimes we feel homesick in our Home. It's like no one 'cares' ( not that they have to), let alone 'respect'.

So all what we've got is OURselves. We have the right to panic and cry for preservation...intentions are nothing but good.

Agony, it’s a culture thinggy. No hard feelings plz.

Once we feel that the "other" is one of us, we'll stop ouring. One of us by not underestimating our life style. If we were ever to change, ONE of the factors might be their innocent influence a bit, but we’ll never accept “actions”.

Peace.

"Our childern!!"

Our law"

This is exactly where problem starts.

"constitution" means nothing if no one is practicing it. Call something BS and you are raising it like a big deal.

Go figure out a nation's priorities first and then get to me with your "constitution".

"It looks like the government itself is encouraging such bullshit. Who are we then to discourage it or work against it."

Interesting. Thanks for mentioning that. And THANK YOU for calling it BS!!! :-D

ummmmmmm, I'll be back with some paragraphs from the Qatari "constitution".

Guys, party and drink as much as you want but stay away from our childern!! You wanna defend criminals it's up to you but Our law is clear.

Also, are you absolutely sure that these people were under 18?

I say that because caucasians look so much older than asians or mediterraneans. A 20 y/o philippina can easily look like a teenager.

I remember when I was in London, from 25 years old to 27, I had to show my ID to the doormans in the clubs even thought my friends could get in withouth any problems! They believed I was under 18? Shocking.

Red Pope remember our lunch arrangement in my yacht this weekend. We'll just take the helicopter there as soon as the poor pakistani has finished washing it.

While we are there our lunch might be interrupted by the guys from Forbes giving me a call regarding my ranking among the worlds wealthiest for the year 2007! But dont feel left out while i'm on the phone just help yourself to one of my concubines!!

I've just come across this threat.

I agree with Ahmad, a 14 years old knows well what she is doing... Sorry it spoils the party for some of the adults, but there isn't much that can be done. It will always be like that.

Having grown up in the heart of Madrid, this is my experience:

At 14 I went to my first club and got very very drunk, throwing up and unable to stand on my feet. I loved it.

By the time I was 16, I was clubbing every single weekend until the wee hours(exept in exams period, I still had my priorities). I rutinely drunk alcohol with my friends and smoked a few splits.

At 18, weekends were my life. I didn't want boyfriends cos I was afroid they would prevent me from partying. All I wanted to do was party party party real hard. I went clubbing a lot. I started to drink responsibly, hated being drunk, I was taking pills every now and then when clubbing all night away, and some other harder drugs in special occasions.

Yet, I always managed to know how to take care of myself, and my priority were my studies.

By the time I was 22 the exitement worn off. I didn't enjoy clubbing that much. I didn't enjoy drinking execpt the occassional beer and gin tonic with friends. I didn't enjoy drugs anymore. I fell in love. My favourite pastime during weekends was to sit with friends, chill, have a beer, have a good chat, laugh and laugh. I had grown up.

When I hear that teenagers shouldn't be allowed to party I feel kind of sad (Hi BBK, how are you?) . Alcohol is bad for them, no doubt. However it is natural. Sometimes I wonder, why stopping them from growing up? Let them do whatever they want, they will learn from their mistakes, the hard way. Sorry it spoils the party for some of the "adults".

Have the "adults" grown up?

I will answer in order your questions.

Will they be able to wash your car?

He will hire a poor pakistani or hindu.

Will you have a car?

He does not need a car, he bought a yacht, one helicopter and a private jet plane with a driver.

Will the country have enough to keep you and feed you?

Yes, he does have enough money, to buy anything, he wants and to feed himself as many times he wants.

Do you have kids of your own?

He is enjoying his life. I'll bet you, he does. You need to ask all his wife's and concubines.

My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. So be it.

Let us at least be civil and use adult language to communicate our thoughts. The means in which you communicated your thoughts in the last post made you sound quite juvenile therefore detracting from the relevant point you had made.

How you say it is as important as what you say if not more so.

Got it!

In my days growing up, we knew the boundary and place of adult business and kids.

Today, is a lot crazier and libertarian.

The law means pupu and nothing more to a lot of them.

look here you little piece of S**T i was there this past event at globals and it was HEAVILY CARDED, no one got in without a card, if they thought you looked the age they let you in, i saw many people who got let in, but later got kicked out by the security inside cos they where too young. Its the adults who go there get drunk hit on the young girls and be all fucking pedo on thier ass is what we have to worry about.

Im sorry mate, you just need to get a life...Oh and Jay, keep up the good work mate..tell gavin and them i said hi

By AHMAD44• 25 Dec 2006 12:32

Man i'm just tired of all the "save the kids" sympathy threads, when i was a kid i didnt like to listen to advice and i didnt want to follow what people thought was "best for me" and you know what i learned the hard way by making mistakes and through very long regret senarios. And still after realizing that many people were right at the time i still wouldnt listen to anyone trying to tell me what to do or give me advice today!

So why should we do to these young teenagers what we hated when we were their age? There are rules and laws that prevent young people from going to adult locations and from drinking and from doing drugs but you know what in every country people find ways to bend the rules! And since in Qatar alcohol and nightscene is kind of a grey-area legally you will get more people getting away with it. Driving age is 18, i got my license at 16!! how? because there are ways around the rules!

If you were a club owner or bar owner maybe you will have morals and maybe you wont and you just want to make money! Maybe your staff are doing favours for young people in exchange for money or for nothing at times by letting them in to the bars and clubs. In 2004 a 14 year old girl got run over by a drunk driver in Qatar outside of a hotel, but guess what it was 3am in the morning and the girl was more drunk than the driver!! Who do you blame first? The drunk driver? The parents of the girl? The club management?

Call me harsh but i blame the girl! At 14 years old i wasnt a genious but i still had the common sense not to be out drinking at 3am in a hotel nightclub just because my friends were doing it!

Its basically survival of the fittest, i'm here and alive today so i'm thankful and i will take every opportunity to make something of myself, i will not sit there and feel sorry for those kids because they are lacking in self esteem or having weird social problems that lead them to sniff crushed polo mints or smoke dried chopped parsely which they were tricked into thinking was pot.

Let them do what they want, let them learn the hard way, the ones that survive at least.

ha ha ha... Still laughing at you..

We know who you are..

Starting a SMEAR CAMPAIGN isnt going to mean that you will over take us..

You have been a member of this site for under 2 hours, as you can all see this has been posted by our rival or so called rival.. Im sorry.. we dont have any rivals... ha ha

Everyone knows that our events are spot on with little complaints from the minority, just because a few people complaign doesnt mean its going to stop the thousands of people coming to our events next year. All it will do is drive us to be better..

The venue are under our full support in this matter and stick by the fact that everyones ids are checked and everything is above board..

You can say what you want, at the end of the day what YOU say is all rubbish anyway..

It will only effect YOU in the end..
