Which, in your opinion, is better?

So some idiot scratched my car door yesterday, down to the metal.
I’m going to fix it, however I’m not sure if painting a car inside a garage or at Toyota dealership is better?
How much a painted door does depreciates car’s value?
My car is a TOYOTA GXR LC
Come on MM, its a toyota, not a Beamer or a Merc. Who cares about log history. :)
still the buyer at the time of your car selling will come to know about it from the dealership's car history, this will be counted & devalue the price by about 5 K.
No it wont devalue your car, if it is done from an authorized dealer, such as toyota itself.
Dont go for a cheap solution. They will paint the whole panel not the effected place. I mean if it was the door they will repaint it all, not the scratch alone.
But I'm glad to know that getting my car door painted at the deanship isn’t gonna take away from its selling value
It's an ocean blue 2008 toyota car
As long as its not a dent, then repainting a scratch , especially from a dealership should not devalue the car..
PS
Is that the 2001 model Rizks was selling for 55,000 ?
