Didn't Rizks post this last week ?

Anyway, I think the ban should be lifted. Lungis probably bring a bit of excitement to the place, whilst distracting the ladies :O)

I suppose guessing whether there is something underneath or not would be better then the movie itself.. and then they have to tie and untie it so many times during the course of the movie

not only mallus some other races also tend to think its okay to go out in lungi. a few days back a srilankan friend argued with me regarding the same thing as he was wearing a lungi (the call sarong) with a highlighted blue shirt and said in Sri Lanka rich folks dress like this in parties... i was like Haa!O)

Lungis are truly very comfortable garment but are well suited indoors in your own house. its no disrespect to the culture of lungi but its respect to onlookers of a different culture or similar.

at least save the assumption that under the lungi there are no undergarments :D

I wonder what will happen if lungi is not tied enough around the waist?

i like this one:

"No entry: Notices in South Indian languages informing the public about the lungi ban.The theatre has banned lungi-clad patrons from entering the theatre. Curiously, most South Indian movies screened here feature lungi-clad heroes"

..but for sure that will not stop them from going in even larger numbers to the UAE.
