Will Someone PLEASE Answer the Phone?

I work in a multinational company, where the receptionist is mostly busy chatting on the phone with her boyfriend. If someone else rings at this time, the caller hears the phone ring but there is no answer....

I have been going to the **** office almost daily for the past one month, and every time I went there I’m supposed explain everything AGAIN!

Now they lost my papers and I’m back to square 1!

But the paper expires in 20th of July and today is 25th

So they made me pay 150QR.

I went somewhere cause i have to do some papers, they told me come Tomorrow to take your papers, i came the other day, they were accurate :) ,, they gave me my papers, but it wasn't signed !!!

I said why oh Why

Come back the day after tomorrow, he said

I said what is special about the day after tomorrow, why not tomorrow ? and why not today you said that before.

The day after tomorrow is Wednesday, So come back Wednesday

I said Ok, i came back Wednesday,

he looked at my papers and said: you should came yesterday, but now it is over, come tomorrow :O)

I said Y Damn Y, u said come Wednesday

Tea boys are nightmares when they answer the phone.

This is how they sound on the phone:

Caller: Hello, Is this La la land’s office?

Teaboy: Yes please

Caller: Could you please put me through to so and so?

Teaboy: sorry?

Caller: just reansfer me to Mr. X

Teaboy: Yes please.

Caller: put me on the line to the ******** department, I wanna talk to Mr.X

Teaboy: enrgn bring nag ader rang dong ho nag bang ghjhernvon.!

Caller: WTF!

Toyboy: yes please!

Caller:L shoots himself in the head.

Peep peep peeep peep peeep

Automated message: you have reached la la land’s voicemail; please leave your recorded message after this tune.

I’d rather listen to the peeps all day than go through that 5ra again!

and when you went to their office, was the guy availabel there on his seat ?

If he was there, you could have stood outside of his office and tried once more calling him from outside his office and if he didnt answered then you can enter his office and shout at him at the spot for not answering the calls...:)

The tea boys are trained to answer the calls after 2pm and our Marco called just before tat time and hence no reply...:(

Thelo, its coz you hav not used the telephone services but insted used a Piegon to convey ur message....:)

after 2Pm the tea boys or the cleaning staff will answer the calls...:)

Most offices will answer the telephone only after 2 PM.

If it is a government office, I think you can mention it here so that if some QLer is working there, they would convey your message.

and tat system is called 'Caller ID' you dumb squirrel ! :)

They probably have a system to recognise your number and so not answer..

its iether they are busy,lazy or ignoring it.

its cos some are lazy to answer the calls...:(

I too sometimes dont answer the calls when i get any calls...i just switch the ringer off and surf QL...:)

then later the one who has called me sent me an email for which i reply...:)
