How to obtain the Fan ID in Qatar
The Fan ID is a smart-technology identification card developed to give supporters the best possible experience in Qatar, allowing Fan ID owners to enjoy visa-free entry, access to stadiums, and much more.
When obtaining the Fan ID, you will gain access to public transports and busses for free on match days. Fan ID enables users to use the metro free of charge for all classes of the metro which operates from 2 pm to 2 am on match days.
The Fan ID can be used in conjunction with the Fan ID app which will allow you to explore tourist information, discover offers, and much more.
Furthermore, the Fan ID can be used to make payments when availing of Qatar Metro and trams, taxi, and bus services.
All Qataris, residents, and visitors who wish to attend the FIFA Arab Cup 2021™ matches will be required to obtain the Fan ID, which will be held in Qatar from November 30 to December 18, serving as a means of identification and provides access to tournament stadiums.
After paying for their match tickets and receiving their ticket application number via email, fans wishing to attend the FIFA Arab Cup 2021 should apply for their Fan ID.
Here are the steps you need to follow to obtain your Fan ID for the Amir Cup Final:
Step 1: Visit the Fan ID registration website
When visiting the website, you will the option to either apply for the Fan ID or check on the current status of your Fan ID. Select ‘Apply for your Fan ID’ to start the registration process.
Step 2: Fill in your seat voucher information
Here you will be required to fill in your seat information which can be found in the email which will be sent after you purchase a match ticket.
Step 3: Fill in relevant personal details
You will then be required to fill in your personal information in the relevant categories.
Step 4: Review application summary
Once you have completed the previous step, you will be able to review your application and receive a confirmation on your Fan ID request.
Step 5: Collect your Fan ID
Once your Fan ID is ready for collection, you can visit the tournament office located at QNCC to collect your card. You will be able to view the status of your Fan ID via the website or email.
Please note that you will be required to present your QID or passport to collect the Fan ID upon arrival.
The collection center will be open from 10 am till 11 pm until October 21, and from 10 am till 2 pm on the match day for the Amir Cup final, October 22
Only fully vaccinated people who have taken both doses within the last 12 months and no less than 14 days to the date of the match, in addition to those who have recovered from COVID-19, will be allowed to attend the event.
In the case of children aged 12 and below, a rapid PCR test result must be presented when arriving at the gates. The test must be conducted at least 24 hours prior to kick-off.
