Padel - new sports trend in Qatar
Qatar is known to harbor world-class sporting arenas and players within the country. Apart from the world-renowned sports, another fascinating sport has made it to the sporting trends in Qatar. Introducing to the world: Padel! As someone who has no idea what padel is, this still isn’t clear. It’s played by 2 people but what do you have to do? It is against a wall, against another team?
Padel is a distinctive racket sport that is played by two pairs of players. It is simple to learn and fun to play right away, yet smart enough to keep you interested in learning more and challenging yourself to improve. Padel is accessible to people of all genders, ages, and fitness levels.
Introducing Padel to Qatar
Xavier Pedrero and Abdulaziz Saadon Al Kuwari first met in 2011 and have maintained a cordial and professional connection ever since. Both of them are avid athletes who take pleasure in competing against one another in a variety of sports. Recently, both of them dreamed and saw themselves introducing the sport of padel to Qatar. This has come to pass. They are happy that everyone may participate in their dream and experience the fun of one of the fastest growing sports that is expanding the quickest in the world.
As a former football player for Qatar Sports Club, a tennis player for the Qatar National Team, and a current professional rally driver, Abdulaziz has always been associated with sports.
For 20 years, Xavier has served as a physical trainer for both professional and amateur athletes. He first thought of padel as the perfect activity for everyone after learning about it in his hometown of Barcelona.
