Information: New Born Baby - Birth Certificate applying and name changing procedure in Qatar
Just i want to share a information about New born baby birth certificate in Qatar
Once the Baby is born, and Name is selected

Documents required:
Parents passport and QID - Father and Mother
Marriage certificate
Vacation card / Booklet with Health card information (Will get from Hospital when discharging)
Enter the details required in MoPH website
Most important is Names: First enter Actual baby name next family name/ Fathers name, and in same format parents name also.
If the First name and last is changed, you can't apply for passport ( Will explain the procedure in last)
Recheck all the information entered are correct and submit the application.
Original birth certificate is free, if you need additional copy you have to pay 20 Qr extra for each copy ( English or Arabic)
Select you mode of delivery : Collection in Hospital(Free) or Qpost (30qr fee)
After submitting application, will receive a SMS for payment link
Pay by card in online, after payment again you will receive a SMS for certificate ready for collection
with this certificate you can apply for PASSPORT and after getting new passport apply for RP
Procedure for Name update / correcting name:
Embassy for NOC:
If you made mistake in Baby name, 1st you have to visit to your Embassy to get NOC for baby name change
Docs Required : Parents QID/Passport and birth certificate original and copy + baby photo
Parents name change is not possible, only baby name can be updated
MoPH
after getting NOC from Embassy, visit to MoPH which is backside to Hamad hospital, Timing 7.30 am to 11am
Docs required: Parents QID/Passport and birth certificate original and copy + NOC from Embassy
Get a token, goto Counter 7 or 8
Submit the documents and get a receipt, Wait for 2 weeks then visit to MoPH again with the receipt
Make payment by card and get a updated birth certificate
