6 Months out of Qatar

If I stay out of Qatar for a continuous period of 6 months or more, will my RP/visa get cancelled? What will happen / what do I need to do to return to Qatar? My rp is still valid way after my supposed return to Qatar.

According to the latest visa-free arrival to Qatar for 80 countries as was announced, how will that affect my return to Qatar?
