Canceling of QID while outside of QATAR
Hello Qlers,
I need to cancel my housemaid's QID but Metrash doesn't allow this because she's outside of the country.
She left on a long leave a few months ago, but in the meantime me and my family decided to leave Qatar permanently due to the ongoing COVID situation.
Therefore I need to cancel her ID, so my sponsor can cancel mine.
Is there a way to cancel it while she is abroad?
Also note that in 3 weeks she will be outside of Qatar for 6 months. Will it be automatically canceled then so my sponsor can proceed and cancel mine?

It will be cancelled automatically if she is outside for more than 6 months. Then your sponsor can cancel your RP.
First, talk to your sponsor and he should be able to guide you. I am not sure if you can cancel her ID as she is your employee but my friend managed to cancel his wife's ID when she was away from Doha and he was also leaving for good.
