Hello. You dont have to do that tests again if they were last done within 6 months. However you will still have to go, pay fee and quote the old Visa number on which medical was done.

why don't just change your visa status from visit to husband dependent's visa? you can come here every 6 months and there is no need to do the medical examination each time you're coming here.

No, it cannot be used. You will need to go through the whole process again. My friend's son returned after just five months of exiting Qatar and he was required to do so.

Yes I know tests are needed for a visit visa.
