Estimated Time to get RP
Good day. I am planning to move to Qatar from the US on a long term contract. I have some commitments that need to be addressed in the US roughly 7 weeks of my intented start date. I am doing all the paperwork now in the US prior to my departure and should be coming there will all the necessary documents. I do understand that the first two weeks of my start date will be the last two weeks of Ramadan. How long will it take to get the RP for a person in my situation?

Should the company HR people work fast, you can get your RP within five working days. Government offices usually close for public dealings during the last week of Ramadan and reopen three days after Eid.
