Family Visa Application Deferred

I have applied for family resident visa, day before yesterday.previously the status was UNDER REVIEW.Then yesterday night it has changed to UNDER PROCESS without showing any expiry date or any other details.can anybody tell me what will happen next and is everything ok.I am very much worried.kindly reply...

"Deferred" status means you need to go visit MOI asap to do a personal follow-up coz most probably there is some problem with your document and they cannot process. For my case, the immigration officer was not clear regarding my previous RP, and when i came there and clarified, it was ok the next day. Hope this helps.

Its a normal process , even for me I checked after 2 days after submission it was showing differed , but next day its came under processing. dont worry, be patient and wait. even its not change after a week just go the department and ask them they will give you the remedies.

Better you visit Captain again tomorrow. Dont go early morning; it would be better to see him around 12 Noon since that time there will be no rush and he will be free to speak. Explain him the situation that you resubmitted the Bank Statement. He may assist you.

By the way, Does your salary statement meets the requirements (6 months salary transaction with minimum salary of 10K and duly signed by the Bank)?

Dont forget to keep one more copy of the Bank Statement while you visit tomorrow.

dear Mohamed still same only, what I do ? I submit my missing bank statement last Thursday (17.11.2016), still now showing Deferred, I need to go tomorrow or Sunday?

It seems that you have submitted the bank statement recently only ("almost 3 days").

You just wait, and if the status is same even after another 2,3 working days; visit the captain again to have further details.

I hope it will be ok, in one or two days.

I have applied family visa for my wife and my kids. After submit all the documents the system said “Application is Deferred” after they said they need my bank statement, I submit also captain sign and then they accepted. Now almost 3 days gone but system says “Application is Deferred”. Why is that???

Hi, how long did you wait until the status changed after you have submitted the needed document? I have the same issue, application is deferred but went back to give the addtl docs but ststatus is still the same. Was it approved eventually?

Hello, my wife and daughter are here in doha in family visit visa completed 6months.we extended the visa for 1 month and expiring on Aug28...in this stage i applied family resident visa on 3rd Aug next day status changed to Application is Differed ...

I went to gharafa and Checked they mention Application deferred in reason they required again bank statement with stamp in all pages ,i submitted on 7 th aug and officer told me to check after 1 week but still showing same,until now no update.

Hope inshaallah we'll get visa...

Most probably (if you have provided all the requested documents) it will be ready in one or two days. If no change in status within one week of your last visit, go again meet captain. He will give you an appointment to meet the committee.

Me and My husband is currently working here in Qatar with separate company sponsorship. We applied for my daughter residence visa and after 2 days it shows deferred. we went to immigration and complete the documents they required. The lady in the counter told to check after 1 week. I check online after 2 days and the status is still DEFERRED. Is there any chance i will get my application approved? after completion of Docs. how long they will change the status? anyone please advise.

Hi, Thanks all for your advises. Today, my application status is changed to "Under Process".

Yesterday was my appointment to meet committee. I went to Mesaimeer at 6.00 AM, and the interview started at 8.30. It was through video conferencing.

The interview was very simple and short.

A panel of many officers (i could not count the numbers) were present for video conference.

It was so simple, and the officer was very kind. They just want to see us and judge. That’s all.

And today, the very next day, the status changed from “Deferred” to “Under Process”.

For RP, the only office accepting application is Gharaffa, but for visit visa there are several offices.

I thought my all documents are perfect (Salary statement, comparatively better salary, Profession, Rental agreement, Labor contract and everything); thats why i directly applied for family residency visa. The other concern was my son's schooling. Without RP i cant even get an application form from school.

In your case, my opinion is to apply for visit visa, and later keep trying for RP. Meantime, try to change your profession to match with your certificate.

My family visa application is still valid.I did not cancel it. Today, i spoke to the Chief of Visiting Visa department and he advised me that there is no problem in applying for visit visa, even if there is a valid application for family residency.

Ok.. U have cancelled RP Application...? Good applied for visit visa u can extend that for 6 months. But Rp v can apply only in gharaffa as per heard

Meantime, today i submitted the application for Visit visa and waiting for the updates.

My Visa application's status is still "deferred". Today again i went to meet captain, he asked to meet the committee on Sunday. Did not give me any specific time or token number, just asked me to come to the reception on Sunday.

Does anyone has similar experience ?

In case if any objection on Sunday, Can i request them to cancel my application; so that i can apply for visit visa.

It is all depends on your luck. there is a chance for rejection with reason "Profession in Visa and Qualification does not match".

Better is try to change the profession to match with the Qualification.

9th was meeting...i suggest give it a week time...so basically the documents is still in captain table and not moved forward...as i said give it a week time and inshaAllah it will be done...if not go back to the same captain again for the status

In both (MOI and Metrash) the status is same "Application is deferred" - Refer to the submission office. The status was updated on 06 March. The meeting with captain was on 09 March.
