Family Visit Visa

Hi All,

I am working in Qatar since 2018 and willing to bring my family (wife and daughter) to Qatar on a family visit visa. I was trying to apply through Metrash2 and facing some issues.

1. It does not have India in the drop-down list for nationality. What to select for nationality?

2. It is asking for the first name and last name of the applicant. In my case, both my wife and daughter do not have the last name on the passport or any other document. What to do in this case?

Any suggestion on resolving these issues.

Thanks

@rkgupta, yes, if it is not available in online mode, only option available is offline and you have to try that once the family visa is open for private employees.

@noddy2711, Thanks for your suggestion. If I understand correctly if I apply through offline mode, the last name is not a concern and they can issue a family visit visa.

Family Visit visa is on hold for now due to covid. That's why indian Nationality isn't coming in metrash. If you are working in qatar for a government company, then you can apply for family visit visa by visiting gharaffa immigration center but it is on hold for people working for private companies. No update as of now as when it will open for private companies. As per rumors, it should open in January 2021 but nothing official.

Also the issue of only the first name, in that case, I don't think you will be able to apply through metrash as it won't allow you to go ahead without entering the last name.

In that case you can visit gharaffa immigration and apply manually by filling a form. Form can be easily filled by a typing center for 10 rial. A typing center is available near to gharaffa immigration.

I hope this helps.

Indian Nationality is not coming
