Dears,

My Family's Visit Visa is about to expire in a month ie,. they are about to complete 6 months of their stay in Qatar. Currently situation is not good in home country and so I dont want to send them back. Moreover I was about to apply for RP on my personal sponsorship. But, RPs were stopped due to COVID-19 in Qatar. Hence RP is not possible. I want to extend their Visa until I'm able to apply for RP for them. Is it possible?

Regards,

Riyaz

Families make mistake by coming to the work place of their husbands , it is too bad to spoil his work. He won't be able to do his duty properly if there are 3 guests to disturb a man, yes, day and night .... .

Sponsors suffer the the most in this fun visit ........ Employees come to work late, very tired, empty pockets , scolded in the previous night .... so many points , yes , truly ....

I understand your situation. By the way, I am also living here in Qatar in a family visit visa. you can still extend the visa due to the current situation in the country. I believe you will receive an extension option in metrash App.

No, don't go to the immigration & passport office located at the airport. They do not do this type of work. I am sure of this. Best is to go to the office located in Al Gharaffa.

Yes. You should be able to extend. They are very understanding at the moment.

Go to the Airport passport office and check there.

Riyaz: Governments do not run on the needs and desires of individuals. You may get some months of extension if you meet the captain at passport & immigration office located in Al Ghraffa and if he is convinced due the current Covid situation. But I doubt he will extend to the date as per your wish and expectations. Give it a try by paying him a visit.
