Family's Visit Visa is expiring and cannot exit Qatar due to Corona virus_ How to get it extended after 06 months

Dear All,
My family is in Qatar on visit visa which is going to expire in this month (Completing 06 months). Due to recent outbreak of corona, they cannot exit qatar. How can I get the visa extended for another couple of months ? Please help me with such information.

Previously, visit visas were allowed another month's extension on presentation of confirmed return ticket. However, in the present scenario, the government may have made some relaxations. Suggest, you visit the passport & immigration office at Gharaffa and find out. You may be even to get some information from the immigration office at the airport which works 24/7. Possibly, some travel agents may also be having information on this.
