FORCED LONG LEAVE BY EMPLOYER- QATAR LABOR LAW

Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to check, Is there any provision in Qatar Labor law which is giving right to employer to send their employees on long leave or ask the employees to sit in accommodation (without pay) for an indefinite period.?
Please let me me know its legitimacy.

Thaseen, Yes, it was announced during the past week. But it is due to the current crisis.
Red, the govt. is helping by allowing companies to take a loan, however in the case of a loan, it has to be returned at some time and with interest.
Indeed the Government should help
Tehseen: These are unusual times. No one ever thought a situation like the current one will ever develop. Laws are usually made for situations arising in normal conditions. As such, I doubt there are any such laws to tackle the situation you may be facing. There may be many others like you facing the same problem. If the company has taken such a step, it is just because of the economic crisis and the financial crunch they may be feeling. Yes, the government needs to step in and help out people like you.
