Friends,

Greetings of the day...

With reference to the recent changes, can some one who brought their friend or relative after the changes, kindly confirm HOTEL BOOKING is required or not??? I want to bring my family.

Will my ID copy & address proof enough or hotel booking is a must?

Thanks in advance.

My relativearrived qatar after 11th Nov

(ie on 17 December 2018...)

Please find below what he had:

1) Hotel booking for 3 days (Which had free cancellation... I cancelled after he arrive)

2) Debit card in his Name

3) Return ticket with 1 month gap

4)Passport valid for more than 6 months

Airport immigration in India asked for Both Hotel booking and Debit Card.....

In Qatar Immigration they asked which hotel you will be staying ? He quickly told the hotel name and they stamped visa for one month. (He had print out of Hotel booking..but they didnt ask for it)

Luckily I was able to extend visa for 2 Months.

Nationality: INDIAN

Thanks to Qatar

Hi, I have same question. What is the latest rule regarding hotel accommodation for a girl coming to stay with her father for one month? Do they allow her without hotel accommodation?

@arvind - One of my friend bring his parents (aged 60+) day before yesterday from Kerala through Cochin Airport on an on-arrival visa. Immigration Officer at Cochin Airport of course ask them the hotel booking but they replied that they are going to meet their son & family, so why should they book hotel? Eventually the officer had to agree that point & allowed them to travel. They reach Qatar safely & the authorities here did not ask anything regarding hotel booking or credit card. Unfortunately this crap rule was implemented only because of our Indian Government request I heard.
