I have got resident family visa for my wife. She is in India at present, so do I need to book return ticket for her arrival in Qatar or one way ticket will suffice
@Jim Oakes thanks for your crappy advice why don't you keep it that to yourself or better implement to your Mrs. , I guess you have a pathetic life or a slapper wife.
Get her a Day return - there is no need to keep her here longer as Qatar is full of slappers. Fill your boots mate ! Keep the Mrs in India tied up to the cooker where she should be !!
1) On a safer side ask your wife to carry copies of your passport, your Qatar resident permit (RP) card (i.e. Qatar Id. card) copy & marriage certificate.
2) Airline office from which you have book the ticket that is suppose if you have booked Qatar Airways ticket online then you have to go to QA tower 1 office to get "OK to board" in the system.
No need of return ticket. Sorry if i mislead you before. Family yearly visit means "permanent visa", and the duration of residency normally will be mentioned as 5 years. So, dont worry.
No. If she is coming on a permanent Family Visa, no need to book return ticket. But, if the word "Visit" is mentioned in her visa, a return ticket will be required. Dont forget to issue a "OK to Board" message from the relevant airlines office.

I will definitely implement your advice, but isn't visa issued by Qatar Govt. enough to enter the country?

1. As I said I have got resident visa not RP , it will get done after her arrival.
2. I have booked tickets online , and there is no option "ok to board" while booking.
And yes she will carry all the necessary documents with her
Dear Sir,
Purchase one way ticket as said by all QLers but don't forget to do "OK to board" airline office from which the ticket is purchased.
On a safer side ask your wife to carry copies of your passport, Qatar RP card copy & marriage certificate.

Why would you want to book a return .. Are you expecting her to leave early ?
You haven't got a girlfriend here have you ?
