By kesavaraam •
Dear friends,
Myself kesavan natarajan, i have Given my resignation letter to the company on 01.05.2016 and i have given them 3 months as a notice period, its already expired on 31.07.2016. As i have a valid RP, my employer is not relieving me from the company now.so please advise me how to deal further with my employer.
Thanks.
It was you who signed the papers not the embassy staff .....................
Dear Kesavan,
Please kindly elaborate us when did you join the company and what does your contract say about the resignation.
Do you have any other issues with your company such loans, disciplinary action etc.,
Please post all the details very clear so the commenting team here can understand the real scenario of the situation.
Accordingly we can guide you for a best of solution.
The comment "NO EMBASSY will ever help you on it" is not correct. There are some embassies that do take up matters with employers with regards to employment issues relating to any of their nationals.
Dear Sir,
Before wasting any time report to National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) along with the relevant documents to put forward your issue.
Location: 25°20'04.2"N 51°29'11.9"E Al Markhiya St, After Dahl Al Hamam Park signal, Road from Landmark Shopping Mall to University Road(Al Jamiaa Street)
Now NHCR is under Ministry of Interior therefore police is managing it. They will call your company owner to report to them. If problem is not solved at their end then they will escalate it to Labour court.

Give it a rest MM: He's resigned as is his perrogative. The employer is just playing games. The authorities need to arrest the employer and jail him ... to send a clear message to others
You may work for them for a few more months if you are not joining a another firm just now. Think for long term merits of co operating with your present employer ...... Think for three more days to choose the right path.
.
Remember, your salary will stop on the day you confront with your employer .....
.
That's important, your visa may come for renewal with the passage of time ...
.
NO EMBASSY will ever help you on it. Have you ever read in the news that about that happening ?
Kesavan, What's reason your employer has given you for not relieving you ?
.
There is solution for each & every issue.
When you are in a foreign land never think of going to the courts against the people who brought you here, who gave you an earning one day.
.
Approach the senior management, be humble, talk in a low tone, never look directly into the eyes of a high official, you will get benefit for the caution I have mentioned above. Ask for the appointment after the staff goes home so that two persons can talk in a free environment. .........
Go to the Human Rights Commission and speak to them. Also, contact your embassy and ask for guidance
In addition to above comments, make sure you take all the right documents with you which includes your contract stating 3 months of notice period, and the resignation letter which you have given to your employer.
Since you are still at the role of your company, you have a legal right to meet a labor inspector sitting in the labor office located in street 13, industrial area. Visit the reception, fill up the form and then meet with the labor inspector, who would listen to your view point and then would like to know the employer's view point as well.
Do not forget to take the name and contact number of your mandoob and HR manager, for the inspector to speak with them, if he feels that your complaint is genuine and it needs quick redressing.
There are several steps yo can take.
First, go the Human Rights Committee and lodge a petition. They will help you out.
Second, if things do not progress, they will advise you to seek assistance of the Labour Office and you can then file a complaint at the Labour Office. They will definitely help you out.
Lastly, as two people who regularly post their comments at QL and advise: "the employers are like fathers and you should treat them accordingly; try talking to your boss nicely over dinner at some good restaurant.........!
Guess your are possibly ROFL over the last comment!
