Hi QL,

I need help and advise regarding my transfer of sponsorship. Currently I'm working in my second company, my previous sponsor gave me NOC/release. My worry is  it' s possible to transfer sponsor even i only stay 1 year in my first sponsor? My RP and QID expire this coming March 10, 2016. All my documents gave already to my new company for transfer sponsor. Please advice.

Thank you!!

Trust me, or if you prefer not to, then don't trust me. But: in order to transfer sponsorship you MUST have a valid ID. An expired ID is not valid. Try to get money from your bank with an expired ID and refer to the 90 days grace period. I bet, they will just laugh at you.

HERE IN QATAR LAWS CHANGE DAY BY DAY

SO ALL PRO KNOWS AFTER TRIAL.

IF YOUR ID EXPIRE THERE IS GRACE PERIOD OF 90 DAYS SOMETIMES THEY DO NOT ALLOW .AFTER NO CHANCE TO TRANSFER BEFORE RENEWAL.

no offensive remarks to any PRO. In many cases, I have observed that even they do not have much knowledge. They do trial and error and correct procedure.

I am curious... Can't your new company PRO answer these questions and aid in the transfer ?

one company's PRO said that there is no need to renew RP/QID since there is a 3 months Grace Period. Can some one please clarify?

Some say PRO...... Which can be misleading :O(

Khan, one doesn't have to be a 'manduup' to understand that you cannot transfer a paper that isn't valid. There is nothing to transfer, an expired ID has no value at all.

The transliteration is not clear. some people say it is "Mandoub".

Khan: The word is "Mandoob" and not Manduup.

KHAN.

so WT is working as Manduup.

If they don't renew your ID then you will have nothing to "transfer". Then they must pay your ticket home.

Thank you Wild Turkey.

What if they will not renew my ID, they will provide my ticket going home if they cancel my RP? please advise.

You need to have a valid ID to transfer. If the ID is expired you cannot transfer it. Your old sponsor has to renew it, then you can transfer it.

Thank you Manish.

Follow up question, its ok to transfer even if my qatar id expire or need to renew to get my second id before transfering sponsor?

Earlier two years stay in Qatar was required. Now one year is ok. But you have to do it in 3 months time after you got NOC letter.
