Medical Commission
I got my parents here in Qatar on a visit today. I understand that if I need to extend their visa further to a month, they have to take the medical test in a week's time with the medical commission.
Can any one help me with the information if Medical Commission is open during the coming week (Eid Holidays).
Otherwise I guess today is the last day I have to do this. Your early reply would be a great help.
Thanks for the help in anticipation.
Hi Bhadz_shukran, any luck with Medical test for your sister. I am in a similar situation, my parents visa is getting expired by 9th July. Medical test was done for both on 28th June, Mother got cleared her medical and her visa got extended through Metrash2. But, my fathers medical still showing under process, re-x ray was done on 29th June for him. I think I have to pay 600 rial as penalty towards overstay. Let me know if anyone has a solution for this
Hello Everyone!
I am worried about the penalties If I will not able to do medical test for my sister..
I brought my sister today morning in Medical Commisssion to do her medical because I need to extend her stay here. But the MC was close due to eid Al Fatr and the office will resume on 12th of July. Her visa will finish this 5th of July (1month). If I will wait until 12th, My sister's visa will be 7 days expired then. They said there will be 200 penalty per day for expired visa. Any advice What will I do to the medical and prevent the penalties. Thank you so much!!
santosh, Hope what you say as 7 WORKING DAYS is true. If its 7 days I am to change my plans entirely.
roshrashrichu is right...u can do medical test within 1 month...go after EID holidays...when you go for extension, you should have the medical test done...thats it!
you have to do it within 7 working days after they enter the country.
Thanks for the reply. Shall wait then
After Eid holiday you can do this
I think you have take medical within one month of arrival in case an extension is required.
Hi,
You have to do Medical exams only if they plane to stay MORE than ONE MONTH, check the visa paper "Duration of Residence" it should = 1 - MONTH and on the passport stamp the limit date should be printed (date of entry + 01 Month).
