52 Degrees, Can u stay out for hours?
By shizalicious •
Hi Everyone,
Today as many of you have noticed was 52 degrees. I couldn't even stand outside to open the door of my house which takes about 10 seconds. My AC stopped working every time I was at a traffic light.
I was at the decoration round about when i noticed on my right hand side workers doing some work outside IN 52 DEGREES?
This is COMPLETELY AWFUL AND SHOULD BE UNACCEPTABLE!!
what is the law here about this anyways?
I AM SURE it doesn't say work in 52 degrees at 3pm outside!!
it is heart breaking, i feel very bad for them.
went to the Immigration office today to extend my daughter's visa, I nearly fainted and found it difficult to breathe... I am so glad to be outta here next week, well for a month at least...
I stood outside for 5 minutes.. I nearly went blind.
but as for me.. let them do whatever they want... i wish one day they'll realize looking up the sky.. far above there is Someone constatntly watching us...
the sufferings we feel, the pain that crushes our soul, the work loads that tear our muscles, the sweat that wet us all... is fairly scaled by the Almighty, the most Merciful and Source of all life...
all these and these are temporal...
the life after death is eternal...
these workers' pain are seen by HIM...

I guess the thermometer doesn't work at all at the Department of Labour
HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS SHOULD PRONOUNCE DAT ALL FIELD WORK TIME SHOULD BE RESCHEDULE.
The decree should have been 10am to 4pm....that is the hottest part of the day
thanks Shizalicious for raising this issue. its very hot today. feeling for those working outside...
companies are not allowed to shift their work at nights... but most of them planned to work at nights during holy month of Ramadan only...
it was really burning today.. the ac was not working properly,i saw many cars parked along the road with their hood's open :( not only humans, even the cars cant bear this heat...
you are all right we should tell them in municipalities or go to sheikh for complaint, very bad...please be at least human.good for the office workers but how about the people working outside...actually they getting lower salary..why like this??
that's squeezing dried lemons dude... sad but that's life.. but In Allah's house, those poor workers have bigger rooms...
I feel bad for them too.. actually am sick now coz of going in and out from office to parking area..But The Almighty's watching us... He does so don't worry dude...
this life here, this burning hell wheather here is just temporal...but the next life, the burning is forever...

Hey, i agree that some people want to work, if i would make so much more than in my home country i would be working also.
Working outside in this weather is a hazard to the people though, they should be protected against themselfs.
Take care
sammiee, there are not only NEPALI workers..U will find the workers from srilanka, india, pakistan and bangladesh as well..
I saw many nepali workers working outside. :-(
ohh..it's too hot then..Thank GOD!i am not in DOHA at present..
they should be fined atleast 5000 for every person out in the heat!!
11:30 till 3pm I believe is the times the Emiri decree mention.
Forget slavery, some of those guys WANT to work. They are here to make money and don't really care it's that hot. I know from experience!!!
u didn't mention RH???
I couldn't even bear one minute of being outside!
During the summer season, they put out a memo to stop working during the peak hours of this heat.. Maybe some companies do not follow this rule..
