If you are planning to move to Qatar for work, the time is now. Here is why…
If you are planning to live and work in Qatar, then that is a very sound decision.
What makes Qatar such a fantastic destination for work? Ask different people, and you may end up with different answers. But in each response, you can find some repeating themes.
Here are some of the reasons why I find Qatar to be such a fantastic job market.
You don’t have to worry too much about the language barrier
If you are coming to the Gulf region for the first time, one of the first thoughts on your mind would be how to survive without knowing Arabic.
Do not fret. If you can communicate decently well in English, you are all set. While proficiency in Arabic is a definite plus, not knowing the language is not a deal-breaker.
With each passing generation, more people in Qatar have started using English as their preferred language of communication. So lock your concerns away.
Qatar is under a blockade by neighbouring nations. But honestly, so what?
If you have been following the news, you should know that Qatar is currently under an illegal blockade by four neighbouring countries.
But once you land in Doha, you will be surprised to see how little it bothers people here. True, there was an initial period when adjusting to life under the new reality was an issue, but that is long gone.
Saudi Arabian and Emirati food products have been replaced by Turkish and Iranian ones, and air travel has gotten a wee bit longer. Other than that, life goes on.
Driving in Qatar is soon going to get faster and simpler…
If you did research on Qatar, you might have read that driving in the city is a huge stress inducer. It’s true, for now. But Qatar is a nation in transition, and things are going to get better soon.
The country is investing heavily into developing its roads. New seven-lane highways (in each direction) are being completed on an almost daily basis. The Doha Metro is also getting ready fast. All this means minor traffic on the roads.
If working in a multicultural environment is your thing, welcome home!
Qatar is a huge melting pot of cultures where you will find people from six continents working together. If you are a student of cultures, or just keen to expand your horizon by interacting with people from all over the globe, then Qatar is the place to be. Multiculturalism rules here!
The 2022 World Cup is coming, and the job market is booming…
The Middle East’s first-ever football World Cup is less than four years away, and the job market is exploding. Whatever may be your chosen field, there is a vacancy for you here. So if you’re looking for a move to Qatar, the right time is now.
People are struggling i dunno from where u got these informations. The job market in Qatar is the worst in The middle east no jobs and if u get one see the package they offer its funny. A salary for a Senior level less that 1000$ seriously? Many companies shutted down. People are suffering but yes they have no choice. Even government jobs are not available now for foreigners they are terminating employees and replacing them by citizens even who doesn't know how to write. The problem that the situation is going badly day after day for foreigners. Everyone is complaining.

Sema !!! Realy i am making my plan to move in qatar to search. Job as i have 8 years of experiance in electrical and instrumentation field with background of bechlor of engineering degree. So should i take my decision back with my current job in my country??
Now a very bad situation to find a job in Qatar.
@Moeski Same experience here. THERE ARE NO JOBS. Don't waste your time. I have rejected job offers and interview calls in Canada because I wanted to take a chance and find a job in Qatar, but there are no openings. I was told it is easier to apply in person but when talking to some HR personnel, I was told it may take up to 2 years to be called for an interview!! What!!
Very surprising since the country is going to host the 2020 world cup.
Many companies going to close and terminating the employees. As my experience here no more jobs. When you search in this website Job categories you may find out JOBS history " Job seekers are 34000+and available jobs 9400+only". If you do not believe check and let me back reply.
