Assistance Required

I have been trying to search the following online but was unsuccessful in getting an answer. I have recently been offered a job at a bank in Doha. Along with the offer letter they have sent me a list of documentation which I need to arrange. Will my employer apply for my visa once I submit the documents or these documents are just for the records. Furthermore I would i like to know how much time it takes for the visa to get issued. They will be processing your visa... just supply what they asked for and relax.. this is how it works in here
