Dec 18th (NATIONAL DAY) working day or not ?

Dear All,

I am working in here one company, I heard from my colleague Dec18th (NATIONAL DAY) our office will be open, Is it legal or not ?

Usually we are working every day up to 12 hours per day without any overtime.

Company not providing good system. How can i report to the concerned department ? help me and give me good suggestion please ..

our boss said we have to work since it is not a legal holiday.

Its a govt declared holiday for all in Doha Qatar except emergency staff.

If you work, then you are eligible for compensation, if not its illegal.

its better to live with that buddy even I worked on national day last year...

but I hope this year we will get off hehehe :)
