What is it with people wanting big mansions to live in?? One only needs a roof over one's head for shelter and safety. A mansion is needed only if the family is huge and extended families all living under the same roof!
Believe it's only the wow factor and initial thrill of a huge mansion, the maintenance of it would be hell! But well, I guess some people need to be looked up to by others by the material possessions they have...
if somebody wants to spend 10 million qr on a house, more power to them. I'd never spend much money on a house out here though, just a bad investment imo.
If they can well afford toi do so, no problem. But there are many who try to maintain the facade of wealth while living on empty. That's where the problem lies.
And another thing is - before noveau riche take advantage of the bargain mansions, they should think further to the maintenance part (long term) which would bust their newly found wealth.

Beauty lies in the eyes of the beerholder.
And other people simply enjoy living in large places.
Anything wrong with that, if they can afford to do so?
What comes around, goes around....
