Dress Code

I will be moving to Doha in September and would ideally like to get kitted out in the UK before I arrive. Is there any dress code for western women in the work place? I have been told that trousers are a no go. I will be office based when I start work. Any advice? Thanks.

you can go corporate or smart-casual.. anything goes as long as it does not show too much flesh or too clingy.. welcome to Doha! =)

I wear always trousers and shirts with small arm, just normal like the same clothes which you goinig to wear in europe at work!

provocative type of clothing at work! Office Attire like "smart-type" dressing!

Welcome to Doha, Qatar, trust me it's not that bad at all!

Cheers!

i dunno hu told u dat but plenty of women here do wear trousers at the work place....basically anything goes as long as its not too revealing or flashy....per se there isnt an actual dress code....in fact there are a few westers ladies in my office whose dress code varies between formal business suits, formal skirts trousers...

hope this helps
