Finding a job...

Can anyone give me any pointers on where to look for employment. I am still based in the UK, have a proven sales record in various industries including the hospitality industry. Have posted my cv onto websites specialising in working in Qatar, but getting no response, its not as if I am unemployable, so am stumped as to why, and how else to go about looking for work. Any suggestions??
