Assalamu Alaikum..

Hi everyone. I have been working here for last four years. Now I resigned and I'm in notice period. Now I got some good job offers. And they told me You can leave QATAR. we will send a employment visa once they COVID issue normalize. So insha allah ASAP I planned to come back.

My doubt is My QID expires on Aug 2021.
and contract period have one more year. Usually  my company not cancelling the visa. (my colleagues are begging to management to cancel visa through email, phone call)

so some people telling me that you cant come back to QATAR for a year. And govt will not issue a new visa until the visa cancel by sponser.

I will stay in QATAR for next 20 days. As a precautionary basis I have to rectify this issue. And I don't want to beg to my management later.

How to cancel my QID, where I have to go CID office or Lobor? Location? Any online cancellation process. or I have to force my sponser to cancel.?

Only the sponsor can cancel the QID. If he agrees to do so, he will give you a printed documents issued by the ministry with all details of your QID. This can be done through the system and right in the office. You will need to submit this document at the airport at the time of exit along with your QID. Keep a copy of this document for your record. Please note you cannot come back if your visa is not cancelled. Should your current sponsor refuse to cancel your visa, you can seek the help of National Human Rights Committee.

As for your new employer sending you a visa, I doubt it very much.
