That salary is the officer grade salary. If you are a software engineer it seems pretty low. Even a decent room here cost at least 2000 riyals. I agree with what nitbinz have said up there.
Not a good salary. Regency holdings run on oracle and if ur a oracle consultant, don't agree for this salary. 12k above is an ideal one. If ur microsoft consultant then this is an ok salary for this experience

NB:- Qatar is an expensive country to live particular the housing expenses. Negotiate with your Employer for a company provided Bachelor/Family accommodation or at least an allowance that is not less than 8k per month.
A 2BHK unfurnished flat in a reasonable area now a days comes around 5000-7000 QAR per month.

Negotiate for accommodation + the same salary would be fine since the Group is very much reputed
if you have diploma then fine, ensure the IT market is that much explosive as other profession in Qatar
