Please advise form current labor law what can i do for below situation:

I am working in a company (say A) in doha, I have better opportunity from a company (say B) now:

 1. A & B are not compitators.

 2. B is offering 58% higher salary inclusive of all facilities which A is not giving.

Company A is refused to give NOC and refused to give equal opportunity in terms of salary. What should i do? Is there any way for me?

You cant do anything with current labor law and you have absolutely no choice but to keep receiving low salary( soooo unfortunate being stuck with low salary). Try to push new offer a lil bit till Qatari Govt implement new changes to the labor law.. No one knows when, but at least there is a glimmer of hope..

wish you good luck !

Until the new law comes in, and assuming the new law is what was explained in the recent press conference, and assuming you are on a definite contract, then you might be able to switch in a year or so.

But in the current system you are stuck with no way at all to move.

The recent amendments would give you way but still they are not implemented.

1. As long as you have a definite contract, you can switch as soon you finish the contractual term.

2. If you have signed for a contract for indefinite period , you can switch if you have completed five years with your current employer.

You gotta wait, as the new labour laws aren't effectively applied legally yet.
