Leave during notice period (Resignation)

I joined my company in Jan 2012 and planning to submit my resignation notice on November 10, 2013 and leave by Dec 10, 2013 after cancellation back to my home country.

I wanted to take a week off between November 19 through November 26th for some important function back home.

Is it possible to take leave during the resignation notice period? I did not find anything regarding this in the labour law and hence my query.

One have to work in the notice period or loose your pay .....

i doubt company wont let that until and unless company accepts ur resignation and appoints some one for hand over...he might fear if he gave u leave and u might never return leaving the company works hanging in the air...so on rizk grounds they will not give...just my thinking..rest up to the relationship between u and ur boss
