Moving to Qatar

Hi,

I am Pooja . I have got a job offer in Qatar with basic 8500 QAR. My husband is not able to sponsor me or my kid because he is on a free visa. I have to sponsor my kid and bring her and start her schooling. Can you help me getting me a clear idea of how the procedure would be. Can I bring her on visit visa when I come here.

Will salary of 10000 QAR exclude transportation etc. My husband holds a visa as a house driver but does his business here. The company is not providing visa. We are told to arrange our own visa. So I dont want to leave at home country and come. I want to bring her in tourist visa and when approved for family permit change to it. Would it be possible?

WT is correct . No such thing as a free visa .. It is usually a visa bought from someone

There is no such thing as a "Free Visa". Think twice before you expose your child to a possibly illegal situation.

Hi Pooja...From my undersatnding, a wife can only sponsor her husband and children if she holds a residence permit for certain professions and her salary is not less than QR10, 000.

My advice is to contact your employer and get clarification and also their written assurance that they will hep you bring your daughter
